2012 MR. CHARITY AMERICA ANNOUNCED

DALLAS, TX – October 23, 2011 – Josh Joblin of Athens, Texas (pictured above) has been named 2012’s Mr. Charity America. The pageant
was held at the Round-Up Saloon in Dallas, TX on Sunday October 23, 2011. Mr./Miss Charity America is a fundraising
event benefitting Home for the Holidays, an organization that assists in sending people with HIV/AIDS related illnesses to
see their families for their final days. Contestants are awarded 10 points for every $100.00 raised. Joblin raised $1405 in pre
show donations as well as additional amounts at multiple pre pageant events which went towards his total score. All monies
raised at these events contributed to Joblin’s points for Mr. Charity America making him the winner. The pageant raised over
$13,000 and 100% of the proceeds were donated to Home for the Holidays Texas, Inc..

The theme of this year’s pageant was “A Night at the Theatre”…Broadway Glamour… Hollywood Glitz… America’s
Showtunes. Joblin swept all categories in the Mr. catagory. He was named “Best Talent” for a rendition of Tom Cruise’s Old
Time Rock and Roll from the film Risky Business. Joblin also performed an impersonation of Gene Kelly’s Singing in the
Rain for theme interpretation.

Joblin is a full time student at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens and is pursuing a double major in Mathematics
and Mechanical Engineering. He is also active in the Cardinal Regiment.
