Precinct 1 County Commissioner Joe Hall will not seek re-election, according to sources he has spoken with in the county. This is sure to be a busy primary in March. Seven Points insurance man Skip Smith is reportedly going to run, with or without Joe in the race.
The sources that told The Ellis County Observer/The Cedar Creek Copy of Joe Hall's intentions for 2012 heard him tell them directly that he would not be running.
